---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------From the Superintendent:
I’m very pleased to announce that this year Keller ISD has been rated a “Recognized” district by the Texas Education Agency. We are one of the largest school districts in the state to achieve such a rating. The improvement in passing performance and completion rates led to the “Recognized” rating. Our commended performance is an indicator of success throughout a student’s public school experience and showed great increases in higher education as well.
It would not have been possible without the commitment of our principals, teachers and staff. Their efforts to implement the newly aligned curriculum have resulted in the highest levels of performance Keller ISD students have ever achieved. It’s very rewarding to see how it has helped our students reach a new level of academic success. As one educator and state leader said, “Keller ISD is in rare air.”
Although we celebrate our accomplishments, we recognize that there is more work to be done to narrow the learning gaps among our students. Our district will continue to focus on delivering the best educational opportunities to every student until we reach exceptional levels of success in each school. With the commitment of the community, we will reach extraordinary heights.
